 3. At each end of the court, a semi circle with a 19’9” radius will be drawn from a point at the center of the goal line (end line) towards the inside of the court. This semi-circle will constitute the penalty area.

 4. A kick-in is a method of re-starting play. A goal cannot be scored directly from a kick-in.


A) A kick-in shall be awarded:

  1. When the whole of the ball passes over the touch line, either along the ground or through the air, or hits the ceiling.

  2. Shall be taken from the point where it crossed the touch line.

  3. Shall be awarded to the opponents of the player who last touched the ball

  4. The ball shall remain on the touch line and may be kicked onto the pitch in any direction.


B) The player taking the kick-in:
  1. Shall have part of one foot on the touch line or off the pitch at

the moment he/she takes the kick-in.

  2. Shall do so within four (4) seconds of receiving the ball.

   3. May not play the ball a second time until it has touched another player.

The ball shall be deemed in play as soon as it enters the pitch.

The players of the defending team:

   a) Shall be at least four (4) meters from the place where the kick-in is taken.

  4. A corner kick is a method of restarting play.

   a) A corner kick shall be awarded when the whole of the ball, having last touched a player of the defending team, passes over the goal line (end line) either on the ground or through the air and a goal is not scored in accordance with Law 11.

   b) A goal may be scored directly from a corner kick.

   c) The ball shall be placed inside the corner arc at the nearest corner.

   d) The opponents shall remain at least four (4) meters away from the corner arc until the ball is in play.

   e) The ball shall be kicked by a member of the attacking team.

   f) The ball shall be deemed in play from the moment it is played and set in motion.

   g) The kicker may not play the ball a second time until it has touched another player.

   h) The player taking the corner-kick shall have part of one foot on the line where the touch line (side line) and goal line (end line) meet.

5. An indirect free kick shall be awarded to the opposing team if:

   a) The player taking the corner kick plays the ball a second time before it has touched another player. The indirect free kick shall be taken from the place where the infringement occurred.
