BY-LAW 33: INFRACTIONS AND SANCTIONS (cont.)

  15. A one game suspension from the next league competition will result for the expulsion of a player or member of the coaching staff from a league competition. A coach under suspension shall not be allowed to be present at the site when the suspension is taking place. Violation of this rule will result in the forfeit of the game against the school at fault.

  16. Any suspension or sanction determined by the Executive Committee will be effective at the moment of any oral or written communication with the school.


C. Failure to pay dues, fines, special assessments and/or other fees within thirty (30) days of receipt of notification will result in a fine of ten

(10%) percent per month on the amount of dues, fines, special assessments and/other fees. Any part of a month will constitute a full month. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in the Executive and Evaluation Committee recommending a school's probation or suspension to the Council.


D. If, by decision of the Executive and Evaluation Committee or Protest Committee, a school is determined to have refused to play a game, or to have forfeited a game or contest by decision of the officials, or to have forfeited a game or contest under the circumstances specified in By-Law 9 B, By-Law 9 C, By-Law 11 P, By-Law 12 D and/or By-Law 3 G (4), the school in violation will be fined $100.00.


E. The following shall be considered serious infractions of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Alliance:

   1. Physical aggression against a referee.
   2
. Violation of player eligibility regulations as outlined in By-Law10 A-O

   3. Failure of the home school to exercise control of spectators and/or failure of visiting or participating schools to exercise control of team followers when such failure of control results in interference with the normal progress of a contest or game.

   4. Failure of a visiting team and/or team followers to honor the standards of good conduct of the host school.

   5. Failure of team members to observe standards of good sportsmanship and conduct before, during or after an athletic contest.

   6. Absence of a member school's representation from an official Alliance council meeting.

   7. Absence of a full-time faculty or administration member from an official Alliance contest or competition.

   8. Participation of a suspended athlete or coach in an official Alliance contest or competition.


F. If, by decision of the Executive and Evaluation Committee, an individual is judged guilty of the infraction contemplated in By-Law 33 E (1), he

shall at least be suspended from all Alliance competition for one calendar year from the date of the occurrence. This sanction will be imposed without prejudice to the Executive and Evaluation Committee's competence to impose other penalties and/or sanctions under the powers granted to it in By-Law 33 G, and/or the Council's competence to impose other penalties and/or sanctions under the powers granted to it in By-Law 33 A, should such penalties or sanctions be considered necessary or appropriate.
