BY LAW 36. ALL-ALLIANCE AND OTHER INDIVIDUAL SELECTIONS (Cont.)

              f) for soccer, of twelve (12) players per division: one (1) goalie, four(4) defense men, three (3) midfielders, and four (4) strikers per division.

              g) for indoor soccer, of eight (8) players per division.

    3. The number of all-alliance selections for each sport will be as outlined in a-g above.

    4. Points by preference will be calculated for each position or division as outlined in a-g above in the following manner: one point for last choice, two points for second from last choice, three points for third from last choice, etc.

    5. If a tie results for the last berth of any position or division, a revote will be taken for that berth.

   6. By unanimous opinion of the coaches, or their representative, an additional player, or players, may be chosen for all alliance selection.


C. The best wrestler selection will be made by the coaches of teams participating in that sport.

   1. Each team will have one vote for a wrestler not of the same team.

   2. If a tie results, the referees will have one collective vote to resolve the tie.


D. The track and field high scoring varsity and junior varsity male and female selections will be made based on the total points won by the individual at the Alliance Championship Meet. If a tie results, duplicate awards will be made.


E. Varsity all-star team selections shall be made in the following manner: Volleyball - 12 players/division (20 if only one) Soccer - 18 players/division (30 if only one) Football - 22 players Basketball - 12 players per division Baseball - 18 players per division Softball - 18 players per division Indoor Soccer-12 players per division (24 if only one)


BY-LAW 37. MATTERS NOT COVERED

On any matter not covered by this Constitution and By-Laws, the Council may take any action that it deems in the best interest of the Alliance and/or in the best interests of athletic competition.


BY-LAW 38. AMENDMENTS TO BY-LAWS

A. These By-Laws may be amended by a two thirds (2/3) majority vote of the Council members present, provided that the proposed amendment be presented to the members of the Council in writing by way of the president, at least thirty (30) days prior to the MAY meeting, at which the proposed amendment will be considered.


B. Amendments to the By-Laws shall go into effect immediately on approval by a two thirds (2/3) majority of the Council members present at the January meeting.
