BY-LAW 7. INSURANCE

A. Public Liability Insurance

1. The Alliance will carry a public liability policy to fulfill requirements for use of public facilities for Alliance championships and competitions. However, such coverage does not substitute for the schools' responsibility as defined above.

B. Directors and Officers Liability

1. The Alliance will provide "Directors and Officers Liability Insurance" coverage for school personnel who accept responsibility as members of the Executive and Evaluation Committee, the Protest Committee, and/or as commissioners.


BY-LAW 8. PRIVILEGES
A. All members have the privilege of competing with other members of the

Alliance.

B. All members have the privilege of competing for individual and team awards when a member school is sponsoring contests for which the member school is furnishing awards.

C. All members may engage in competition with schools outside the Alliance.

D. Schools with full membership have two (2) votes in the Council. Their teams and athletes have the privilege of competing in all regular Alliance competition and all post-season championship tournaments sponsored by the Alliance. Their teams and athletes may compete for all trophies, individual awards and team awards made by the Alliance.

E. Schools with probationary membership may participate in all Alliance meetings but have no vote. Their athletes are eligible for individual awards and recognition, but their teams are not eligible for participation in post-season championship tournaments, for trophies, or for awards.


BY-LAW 9. GENERAL RULES FOR ALLIANCE COMPETITION

A. Supervision of Students:

1. A full-time school employee from every school involved must be present at all athletic contests. If the full-time employee is not the coach of the team, he or she should introduce him- or herself to the official(s) and the coach(es) of the opposing team(s).

2. Visiting schools that bring spectator buses are also responsible
for bringing at least one (1) full-time faculty member or administrator to act as crowd control.

3. Home and visiting schools are encouraged to have full-time faculty members as crowd control as often as possible.

4. Schools with part-time coaches in the sports of: track and field, cross-country, tennis, swimming, golf, bowling and volleyball having at least seven(7) consecutive years in the same sport in the same institution will be permitted to represent the school without been accompanied by a full time employee representation.
